In order to better serve you the readers, i’ve taken some time setting up this blog… that’s the first of the announcements…
Dubbed, “Raw Ma-TRu-ial,” i’ve wanted to have this running for quite some time now, but never had the minutes and hours to make sure it all laid out nicely and looked good…
The name, as my fellow hip-hop heads will quickly recognize, is something of an homage to the Mars Ill album “Raw Material” (CLASSIC!) and also signifies the nature of the posting… i expect to drop some raw thoughts here in the pages of the blog, be it quick reviews of albums, movies, tv shows or commentary on other items of interest… i also plan to have some extended book discussions as i read through the chapters of another person’s words… and this blog will be the closest thing to the news that you’ll get here at the TRu… if i see some interesting press releases or news items, i’ll stick them here…
Now, onto the next big thing… theTRu has partnered with the Open Discussion Forums to allow that message board be our message board… hit up TRudATmusic.com/forum, sign up as a member and get to know fellow peepers of theTRu… it’s a great opportunity to stimulate relationships and community in an online setting and i hope it’s a lot of fun for everyone…
