i just recently watched the Superbowl again… i had it stored on my DVR and watched it as i pulled it down onto a DVD… (sounds fancy i suppose)… anyway, besides being a great game and all, it really struck me again during the post game commentary how much respect everyone has for both coaches…

Lovie Smith of the Bears offered viewers a remarkable example of losing with grace and dignity… so much so that he clearly didn’t lose even though his team didn’t win the game…

and Tony Dungy of the Colts… wow… complete humility… and it’s amazing to watch… completely captivating to see this behavior from one of the biggest platforms available in the country… it’s remarkable…

this chapter talks about remembering God in the good times… letting our victories glorify Him and the difficulties we face in doing just that… it’s easier to remember Him in the hard times when we want something…
